Back in 2013, Melissa—founder of Melissa’s Stitches—started sewing for her twins, Sofia and Gustavo. What began as a personal passion quickly turned into something much bigger. Inspired by her love for embroidery and customization, she began creating high-quality, personalized pieces designed to make every moment feel extra special.
At first, it was simple: a small machine, a home workspace, and a big dream.
That same year, Melissa took a leap and showcased her creations at a local Farmers Market. The response was incredible. Orders started coming in, word spread quickly, and soon after, she launched her shop on Etsy—marking the beginning of an exciting journey.

What started as a small home project has grown into a thriving business with nearly 100,000 sales and customers across all 50 U.S. states—and far beyond.
